What's up in the week ahead? I HAVE finish the jumper for my friends son. I knitted and knitted, ripped and knitted, and ripped again. I can't find the error in the pattern. So I decided to finish the jumper however it will turn out. I'll post the jumper when it's finished. Have you finished a knitting-project knowing that something went wrong? Please let me know!

Just a little hello with some flowers. After a few days of gorgeous summer weather autumn finally came to town. I like it: drinking tea, candle light. I like even the rain - most of the times. And of course the colors of fall. Hope to post some pictures of the indian summer here. What about you: What season do you like the most?

The weekend is just around the corner. What are your plans? I'm going to stop by the farmers market and buy some fresh veggies and some flowers for the weekend.

We're going to meet good friends for a coffee who are in town for a family-meeting.

And I have to finish the sweater for a friends son - I am affraid the size won't fit if I have this unfinished work-in-progress a little longer in my hands.

My blog said to me: Forget Me Not

The summer was filled with sunshine. With lots of rain. So much rain. Cold weather… more like fall. And we had glorious sunshine, lovely soft summer winds.
The summer was filled with visits from familiy and friends.

There just isn't enough time in the day - in summer. I decided for September: it is the perfect time for a re-start - again. The blog gets more into my focus again. Keep visiting!

Summer?

This summer isn't very summery. Lots of rain. Not very warm. We had to turn on the heating because it was quite chilly in the evening.

What is summer about? One topic is preserving fruits! I cooked some jelly with a friend and with the help of a neighbors little daughter who wanted to help us. Help is always welcomed! We cooked raspberry-strawberry-jelly. It's so delicious!

On my way home I had to cross the river. The view was stunning and I enjoyed my ride home on the ferry.
